When we talk about a successful SEO campaign we usually mean that certain positive goals were achieved with rankings, website traffic, conversions and ROI (return on investments). There is scientific reasoning and projections that exist behind each of the parts of the campaign.
However, it happens that some clients have very vague views on how an SEO campaign should go on. Those who visit our SEO quote web page start conversation with the statement that they want to be ranked #1 for keywords that they think are important for their business.
Basically, our web analytics company guys have seen it all. Throughout the existence of our company we had clients who never heard the word “webmaster” or thought that jumping and distorted Flash animations are very important for their web strategy. We had those people who instead of getting down to business and working with us, would argue every step of the way slowing down vital steps from saving their company from Internet oblivion.
All these things led us to believe any kind of meeting with a potential client must start with agreeing on certain undeniable facts. A potential client should simply understand that without an organized SEO campaign in place, his business will fade off the map, lose sales to competitors and diminish the value of his brand over time. Without this understanding any attempts to do a serious SEO won’t work. At its minimum business owners should be perceptive and have some trust in SEO contractors efforts to make his website shine.
